Ever since I could hold a pencil, I’ve been doodling on any surface I can get my hands on. I remember I loved drawing on my mother’s beautiful white walls but I made sure I drew right under the door knob so she cannot see (from an adult’s height). Clever right? Of course she found out. Growing up, I’ve written everything out from the happiest days of my life to the absolute darkest times. I wasn’t sure why but I’ve always found writing therapeutic, especially during moments where I feel I’ve hit rock bottom. In my adult years, I’ve realized I wasn’t the only one that enjoys journalling. Many others love writing and reflecting on quotes and lyrics. Little did I know that one of my longest hobby would turn into a business of mine where I specialized in a particular writing technique, modern calligraphy. Anyone else finds writing therapeutic?
